**Core training- While this term has become a fitness buzz word, training our bodys powerhouse allows us to reduce injury, improve posture and alignment, and transfer power effectively whether we are biking the Kingdom Trails or chasing the kids around. Expect to be challenged in this area throughout the whole session.
Cool Down - Effectively cooling down allows the recovery process to begin and is a key to overall progress. This is where we switch from Dynamic to Static stretches now that the muscles are warm and ready to be stretched. Expect a blend of yoga and traditional style stretches to build greater flexibility.
We feel that this is an extremely important part of the process.
FAQ - Answers to often asked questions
So who is this workout for? Mocean365 Action Workouts can be geared towards all fitness levels from beginner to expert and from teens to senior citizens.
What should I wear? Comfortable clothing that allows you to stretch and bend, move side to side, and sheds moisture well. A wicking type shirt works well. Some people do the workouts barefoot while others prefer non-marking sneakers when inside, and in the summer we will be taking it outside.
Will I be required to sign a waiver? Yes. This ensures that you understand the risk that you take responsibility for it. In cases of injury, you may be required to provide a letter from your physician clearing you for rigorous exercise. Also, during balance movements, there is a risk of injury as there is with anything in life.
Should I bring water and a post workout snack? YES!
What is the cost of a typical session? Group classes are $12-20 depending on location. Individual and small group training starts at $45 within a 25 miles radius of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Our packages are very reasonable and we can work on a sliding scale for those in need of assistance.
How long do the workouts last? Generally, between an hour to an hour and a half.
Will I sweat? Most people are sweating 5 minutes into the class and are drenched by the end. Whats the reward without hard work?
What if I'm currently injured? Many of us have old injuries that we work around the best we can by listening to our bodies and adhering to strict form and posture. However, if your injury is recent, and still carries risk, you WILL be required to provide clearance from your doctor before beginning.
Do you also offer one on one training and small group classes? That is how it all began, one on one attention so yes! We can bring the workout to you at your home, workplace, backyard or local park if you cant make it our way. You will receive personal attention within the class depending on class size but a one on one session will ensure you get 100% attention. You could also choose a custom group size if you and your crew want to buy a session. Call or write to book an appointment.
How often should the workouts be? Every other day for the workouts with cardio vascular based movements in between are ideal to maximize your fitness levels. Think quality as well. You DONT have to work out for hours at a time day in and day out. Just be as active as possible and maximize your training time.
What do I do when not doing class? Have fun, live life and be happyOK, we can also design a program that you can follow when not training in our group or individual workouts.
Does Mocean365 sell equipment so I can workout at home? We can order equipment for you if needed from Indo Boards to medicine balls or we can show you where to order on your own.
